HOW DID WE START:

BECAUSE I WAS ASKED THIS QUESION

Why do we love and need our dogs?

I was at a loss for words, how do you answer that, how can you put into words the meaning of their love and friendship. After a while I answered:

Well if you're asking that question you haven't experienced a dogs' love, the happy smile and wagging tail when you come home (after a days work or 5 minutes!) the unconditional loyalty and companionship and the certain little habits that make our dogs unique and special.

That started me thinking, mt Dogs are great and they are so individual that what one needs the other doesn't, and I'm sure most of the other Dogs out there ar just as different.

My boys, Seb (a miniature schnauzer) and Lucky (a Chow cross) are as different in their personalities as they are in their likes and needs. If you are like me then you want what is best for your dog and the choice to find what suits your little one, as we all know what one loves the other probably won't! Seb will ONLY play with plush toys, Lucky will chase anything!

There are a lot of PET shops but NO DOG shops! A Dog shop that will cater to every doggie personality (and their owners!) So Dog Essentials started. A place where you can find everything about dogs, where the working dogs can get their travel bowls and ute ties, the Show dogs can get their chalk and gloss sprays, the 'City Dogs' can get their Diamonte and jewel collars and the Agility guys and girls can get their special toys and leads!

We wantedto make sure that the owners had enough information to buy what is right for their dog! To get the right thing for your dog you need to understand your dogs breed (or mix) and his personality and also what the product is about and for!
