AGILITY

WHAT HAPPENS: In agility a dog has to complete a designated obstacle course, the dog that does it the quickest and without faults wins. But all the dogs have a great time! Obstacles include: tunnels, dog walk, A frame, table, see saw, jumps, weave poles and more.

WHAT DOGS DOES IT SUIT: All dogs, any size and breed. The dogs only need to love to run and have fun (so again I say ALL dogs). A certain level of obedience is needed before you can do Agility as your dog and you need to know basic commands. Agility is structured for dog owners with all levels of skill and physical ability, during actual Agility and Jumping trials there are several levels of competition ranging from Novice level to suit dogs new to the sport to Master level for more experienced dogs.

WHY DO IT:

Agility is the one of the most fun activities you and your dog can have, it combines exciting teamwork with skill and speed. Great exercise and bonding time for you and your dog, the dog has an outlet for his energy and provides mental stimulation, which prevents him being bored at home! Agility training allows dogs to release their energy constructively and both you and they learn how to be under control and in high spirits at the same time!
