FLYBALL

WHAT HAPPENS: Flyball is fun, fast and noisy. Dogs in teams of four fly over jumps to catch a ball which is released from a spring release panel then return at top speed. A clean run is where no dog drops the ball, goes over the start line before the other dog crosses the finish or goes around a jump. Flyball can be done for fun and competition, teams normally run 3 to 5 heats in a competition. The teams are run in divisions (fastest in Div 1) so all dogs get a fair go.

WHAT DOGS DOES IT SUIT: ALL dogs, especially ball mad dogs! Any dog can participate - regardless of breed, shape or size.

WHY DO IT: Flyball is a great social event for both you and your dog and the dogs LOVE it. It allows dogs to do everything they love; jump, catch, retrieve, run and please their owners! It is a great fun day and your dog will be more content and happier thanks to the physical activity!
