LURE RACING

WHAT HAPPENS: Lure Racing is similar to Lure Coursing but the coarse is run over 80 to 100m (not 300m) The dogs are raced four at a time from and chase a lure pulled by a battery-operated machine. Hurdle races and water jumps are also included on some fun days.

WHAT DOGS DOES IT SUIT: Lure Racing is for any dog including the pampered canine pet. All dogs love to run and chase and lure racing lets them do just that. Because of its shorter distance it is especially great for small Terriers and other small breeds.

WHY DO IT: Lure Racing is an exciting fun day for both the dog and owner and will have both of you feel happy and content. It provides an outlet for excess energy and is a great social day for both of you.
