We suggest that once you have decided on which dog breed best suits you, your family and lifestyle that you contact the breeders. When you contact a breeder make sure you are satisfied with both the attitude and breeding ethics before deciding to purchase a puppy, also try to see the parents of the puppy to make sure that type and temperament match what you are after. Ask any questions you may have about the breed, even if you think they may be silly or basic questions, any dog lover is always happy to share experiences and help. Also ask questions about inherited problems with the breed and what testing is done for this. It is also good to make sure that you can contact the breeder after receiving your puppy with any questions or concerns you have; a good breeder will have no problem with this and will probably recommend you do!
